On-Site Camping Update for Steam N' Steel 2020

For all of the registered attendees and those interested in registering who wish to stay on-site in a self-contained vehicle, unfortunately this is no longer permitted. We advised on registration forms that camping on-site was pending council approval and unfortunately, we cannot have self-contained vehicles on-site for this purpose. Update regarding the Post Convention Ramble

Hi everyone,We have received word from Dave Giles, the organiser of the Steam N' Steel 2020 Convention Ramble that the Mana Ariki Railway trustees have declined permission for the ramble to visit their track north of Taumaranui in January 2020. This is a very disappointing position taken by the Marae Trustees, considering the money and effort put into maintaining their facilities over the past year.None the less, the show must go on!
